The TempAid pre-qualified CRT packaging solutions are designed to maintain control room temperatures for up to 144 hours.
As its name implies, the rugged design is manufactured and tested against numerous harsh conditions to be returned and reused multiple times while keeping temperature consistency.
Tested to a wide range of temperatures, the system balances cost with reliability to provide the best temperature-controlled packaging system on the market today:
Robust and Recyclable
The rugged solution includes our biodegradable EPS* (expanded polystyrene) with an EPP (bio-stable polypropylene foam) outer shell that provides lightweight insulation and durability.
Both cooler shells use a tongue and groove design to create an air-tight seal to secure the lid with the base. The shells are also recyclable as a Class 7 curbside material.
Durable PCM Plates
As a rugged alternative to flexible gel packs, the rigid high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic container is filled with a PCM gel and sealed to prevent leakage. It offers excellent resistance to compression and breakage, not changing shape when thawed or frozen, and helping to prevent contents from shifting. Durability also means the product is capable of being cleaned and refrozen thousands of times without affecting the shape or performance

- The EPP outer shell bounces back from dents and dings. Its color keeps the outer shell looking clean and unblemished even after multiple uses.

*The resin used in these coolers biodegrades 92% over four years. They were tested using sample items under conditions simulating both wet and biologically-active landfills using the ASTM D5511 test. The extent of degradation and stated rate do not mean the product will continue to decompose.
